We want all our visitors to enjoy their day and to facilitate this we have so rules that we ask patrons to adhere too, these are listed on you permit but the main points are:
- When on a kill ticket you must kill the first fish (and subsequent fish) until you reach the permit limit before switching to catch and release i.e. no selective fishing.
- No boobies (or similar lures) to be used during catch and release fishing.
- All brown trout MUST be returned to the water.
- No wading in the fly pond. This is for your safety as the water depth falls away steeply from the edge of the pond. Pictures of the drained pond here.
- No boats or float tubes allowed.
- No fires to be lit (this includes disposable barbecues).
- No dogs allowed.
- No gutting of fish allowed at the fishery. This practice attracts vermin and is unpleasant for those left to clean up.
